Our story
Best Coffee in Invercargill, two years in
Coffee with J opened in 2024 as a little donut and coffee shop in Richmond. Since then it’s picked up the Best Coffee title in The Hits 98.8FM Best of Invercargill awards, a feature in the Southland Express, and a perfect 5.0 rating on Google.
The donuts lean on flavours you won’t find everywhere, like ube and biscoff butter cream alongside the classics, made fresh and sold until they’re gone.

“Cute little cafe making awesome fresh donuts and buns. Tried most donuts now and they are all delicious. Also had the Pulled Pork bun and that was super tasty too. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth going. So far my favourite coffee in Invercargill and coming from Melbourne (the coffee snobbery is real) that's high praise!”
